In Kontich, you can find multiple activities, such as bicycle repair, cyclewash, test drives, workshops, a quiz, etc. Our team is ready to welcome you!
In between you can enjoy a delicious coffee, healthy breakfast snacks, fruit salad and pastries while our DJ plays some swinging beats!

During the Car Free Day, you can get your bicycle checked and fixed. After all, you came by bicycle and should be rewarded! All subscribers receive a free breakfast and goodiebag. Your bicycles breaks, tire pressure and lights are being checked by our specialists and repaired free of cost.

The Drivolution instructor presents you some playful, but also confronting questions. You can voice your specific opinion by choosing field A or B. This way, you get more insight in your own driving style and you will be encouraged in adopting a more defensive driving style.

During the session for bicycles and e-steps, we reflect on the dangers that are just around the corner when you’re travelling with your (electric) bicycle of step.Next to reducing the number of accidents (and related costs) we give extra attention to bicycle safety. After this session, all participants return home with personal feedback and some points of attention.
To participate in this session, it is mandatory to bring your own (electrical) bicycle or e-step.

Theory: how to drive back-friendly, correct sitting posture, getting in and out of the vehicle.
Practice: Every participant will be able to set up his sitting posture by the instructor. Next to that, other settings such as adjusting the mirrors, are also looked at.
For this session it is mandatory to come to Kontich with your company car; only in that way we can ensure personalized advice. Subscribers for this workshop will receive a designated parking spot next to Veldkant 33A. All participating cars will be parked next to each other so the workshop can take place without problems.

The full-automatic bike-wash ssystem Cyclewash ensures meticulous cleaning by using a brush rotation system. Thanks to the low-pressure system and the very soft EASYClick-washing brushes, the system is specifically designed for washing bicycles and e-bikes.
Cleaning process
The bicycle is pushed into the machine. The spray nozzles and washing brushes pass along the bike on a full-automatic sled. Depending on how dirty the bicycle is, simple or more sophisticated washing programs can be chosen.

For the first time during the Car Free Day, we're offering the possibility to experience in a safe way what it feels like to navigate in traffic in an unsafe way.
By offering this experience, we want to create awareness and stress the impact of what it means to navigate in traffic when you're under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
It is not necessary to subscribe beforehand for this workshop.
